There never will be a perfect time to chase a dream. Life moves quick and obstacles are abundant- so throw caution to the wind and live a life you’re meant to live. And hence as I picked up to blow dry my hair, I changed my mind looking at the beautiful view from the window of my room which tempted me to not to anymore waste a minute and thus I quickly grabbed the hat and stepped out on my foot to discover a new world, the old world charm of the old Quebec City which is undeniable.

The people playing music or singing a jolly song on every  corner of the streets, the painters colouring  lives with the happy colours, the active n buzzing cafeteria and parlours, the street artist doing shows on every square, the cobbled streets with freshly made maple taffees in a minute, and so much more. For a foodie, or an artist, it’s surely a treat to be travelling and specially to this part of the world, the Quebec.
This is my series 2 to the most photographed and Instagram friendly places in the town.

2. Fontain de tourny

Fontaine de Tourny spent over a century in France before becoming a Québec City landmark.

It was originally created by French sculptor Mathurin Moreau and received a gold medal at the 1855 Paris World’s Fair. The fountain was inaugurated on July 3, 2007. It was a gift from Simons department stores to the City of Québec for its 400th anniversary. The people of Québec City immediately took it to their hearts, and it has become a source of pride.

5.Montmorency Falls Park

This natural phenomenon is definitely not to be missed! At 83 m high (30 m higher than Niagara Falls) Montmorency Falls can be seen from all the way across the St. Lawrence River in Lévis!

Take a gondola ride, hike one of the three Via ferrata circuits or cross the cove of the falls on the double zip line. In winter the spray freezes at the foot of the falls to form a huge “sugar loaf,” another intriguing Québec City attraction.

9.Île d’Orléans

Imagine how beautiful the countryside must be when the town is so lovely. In fact the irresistible farms, churches, and heritage homes make me enriched as I visit artisans and farm stalls from one stall to another lining the route, making it so much fun.

In season, enjoy the  famous strawberries and apples, as well as freshly baked bread, wines, ice ciders, blackcurrant liqueurs, and other local delicacies. The strawberries here are deliciously succulent.

Wearing a white in summers is so cool, and I chose to wear a white lace dress with flip flops. It’s chic n comfy and cool for a summer noon outing in the open streets and farms. A happy weekend with friends or family is well spent and I’m thankful to God for bestowing so much beauty around and in my life too.
