Magical Looks by Mac Cosmetics Aladdin Collection
As jury and stylist for the Dazzle Miss and Mrs Asia beauty pageant, I am in goa today. As I go ahead to take my session of styling and stage presence, it’s of utmost important how I style my look.
So here’s a little peep into my look for the day. I chose to wear this jumpsuit by the celebrated designer Raj Shroff ravage. I wore a beautiful natural pearls and corals neck piece with it by jewelry designer @ruchi Kochar of styleaura I felt that if I added on a belt, it would add a dash of glamour to the whole look so I wore the natural Pearls necklace as a belt.
My makeup is the latest launch by Mac India Aladdin palette of eye shadows. I had a lovely time enjoying the time with the contestants.

Recently Aromatherapy associates, London was launched in Jean Claude Biguine, bangalore and I had an opportunity to get a spa therapeutic massage done.
Jean Claude biguine is not unknown to any of us in bangalore or elsewhere for its luxurious beauty services and now this collaboration makes it doubly fantastic.

Orion Mall Toscano India amazing Italian lunch with a preset menu. The beautiful ladies and their presence brought a life and energy into the whole ambience of the Toscano.
There were laughters, warm feelings along with warm food, toasts were raised and love fizzed out of the drinks. The lovely interiors of the restaurant totally lit up with buzz and giggles.
The food was a sumptuous treat with a three course preset menu.
Sephora india | 7 looks with Sephora | Orion Mall
Orion Mall made sure that women were treated like queens and I had already decided on 7 looks with Sephora for my Rocking girls. Makeup on fleek and then the hampers and shopping made it a treat for us women.
We clicked many a selfies in our glamorous avatars. Our hampers were cute and we got some amazing makeup stuff that included lipsticks, mascaras, bronzer and powder foundation. The looks are here:

I wanted to adhere to the contemporary twist of Tanishq so this look was born- an amalgamation of sensuality and sophistication which are seen as opposing qualities when they are not.
The imperial beauty of this tassel effect diamond set with semi precious green stone taking the centre stage is what makes it befitting for any occasion. Brilliance is never just confined to few festivals but it is an ongoing affair.
The second piece is fabulously rich and passionate and speaks for itself, it spells the unsaid glamour and charisma of a royal stature and upholds the grace and majestic look all the way.
This is a cascading three tiered diamonds, Polkis and green gemstones set which is inspired by the Maharaja of Patiala, Yadavindra Singh.
Reimagined by the Patialas, the diamond swirls and the swaying pearls highlight the carved green stone.
I have again worn it with an off shoulder in satin and floral skirt giving it an indo western feel. The emphasis still lies on the fact that why not incorporate this kind of jewellery free from curtailment of one kind of dressing.
The sets were many and every set steals my heart and my perpetual appetite could not be restrained and Tanishq gave reins to my passionate affair with myself for I only felt like the rare royalty who reigns.
This radiant necklace is laid into intricate floral motifs and is highlighted by red sugarloaves that perfectly reflect rich imperial heritage.
The Benarasi lehanga I have worn with this necklace is my mother’s saris that she had done into lehanga and choli with the graceful odhni for me last year.
This amalgamation of Benarasi sari and red choker necklace is something my mother always wants me to wear and hence this is an ode to you mom, again and again, I will go on being your daughter and reflecting your tasteful choices and majestic royalty…the poetry of love shall linger…

Review: New Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte Lipsticks and Pure Color Envy Liquid Lipsticks
Estée Lauder has released its new shades in the Pure Color Envy Lipstick Line
I have always loved the range of colours from this range and the new introduction is fantastic and is up in my alley. So there are two ranges in this. One is the new matte texture and the other is the liquid formula.
These formula extensions have only added to glamour along with a little bit of sass to my already existing Coll. My love and fondness is doubled for this range for I’m already a fan of Pure Envy Lipsticks. And these colors are totally pigment packed punch with bold and bright colors for spring, in a true Estée Lauder fashion. Who said spring is meant for nudes?

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte Lipsticks
I love Color and pigments and there was no way I could not have loved this. These colors in matte are so creamy and richly pigmented that they glide on the lips and leave a smooth texture. I thought it might be dry and make my lips uncomfortable but it gave a smooth finish and there was no sign of glossiness. It made me feel comfortable hours after applying. It is sensuous and bold and you could get the feel of the ethos of these colours by the names they bear like ‘shameless’ to ‘infamous.’ ( says a lot about the new collection).

The Color is so intense that it stays for more than 6+ hours making it worth the buy. When Supermodel Joan Smalls at last year’s Met Gala arrested the world with her bold violet shades and created a stir then nobody knew that she would collaborate and launch a new range of colors of Lipsticks with Estée Lauder in the coming year.
This lipstick range is the kinds you would want to wear with your boyfriend for a date night. So Lipsticks are chicer. Would you want to buy one of these to add to your stash ? This is a super smooth gliding finish and how many of us won’t want pure love for Pure Color envy!!!

Making statements with VLCC Style Statements
It was a lovely afternoon with lots of fashionable and lovely women coming together along with the team of doctors, nutritionists, skin and hair specialists,at VLCC, when the discussions over wellness, health, skin and hair went on with bloggers shooting their questions incessantly. The team of VLCC was not only enthusiastically attending to our queries but also gave extensive insight into issues related to health and wellness.
We all have grown up hearing about VLCC but, to my surprise, all I knew of it was it was a weight loss centre. But this noon was an eye opening one when I realised it’s a holistic wellness health approach which needs to be worked on when you are dealing with issues like weight gain or skin or hair troubles. Finally it all is related and thus if you go to seek treatment then it’s not just externally but it will begin internally.
VLCC has introduced many a skin and hair treatments, and has made weight loss for people with ailments like pcod and thyroid too achievable and possible while keeping it simple and plausible.
- We discussed at length the vampire facelifts or Dracula facials of Kim Kardashian fame. The process is known as PRP wherein your own blood is taken n the platelets are re injected to give you a fresh supply of growth cells and thus your skin is left beautiful, thus the name ( finally as legend may have it, vampires survived on blood). Simailar process is used for hair regrowth too.
- We also discussed on how PCOS is one of the common lifestyle diseases and has the repercussions of weight gain, acne, facial hair etc and how diet and workout together could combat this. So once you are at VLCC you might have gone for your weight or skin or hair but the holistic approach of their treatment will take care of all the aspects.
- We discussed some cosmetic treatments too like the eyelash extensions, laser hair removals, gold thread lift etc. The eyelash extension can be done in few hours for long, doll like effect and it stays for few months, precisiely almost 7 weeks. Then you could go back again, although it needs to be taken care of in terms of makeup removal every time, gentle touch n no rubbing of eyelashes.
- Gold thread face lift takes care of the sagging skin and wrinkles.
- Various luxurious hair treatments are also available at the centres.
- The recently introduced pumpkin peel is for sensitive skin also, and even acne prone skin.
- I came to know about the extra lightening Glutathione injections of Kajol fame, and how glutathione which is a peptide and a powerful antioxidant and is naturally made in our body is responsible for making our skin also light and this can be achieved here.( although I’m personally not in favour of fair skin being the definition of beauty as #darkisbeautiful and we must take pride in how we are such unique creations of our creator, the Janani ( our Mother Nature) . My mom always said “believe in the power of nature, it makes sure you are beautiful in your own unique way“.
- The many therapies including non invasive methods for spot and inch reduction has made it possible for many to combat fat as it is almost a battle. The coolsculpt is one of those treatments which kills the fat cells of your body.
VLCC believes it’s never too late or too early to begin taking care of your skin, hair or wellness. The lovely noon, the high tea, and the hair and foot massage kept us busy. This is for sure that if you intend to heal and attend to what your body is asking for, then the solution to your beauty issues are here, since we must not forget that health is beauty. We got lovely products which I will incorporate in my daily regime, including the green tea. Looking forward to go back to the VLCC soon for getting a DNA swab done and get my metabolism checked so I could hit the road to weight loss.

Painting The Lakme Fashion Week Blue With – TrueBlue
When it’s Sachin Tendulkar who is launching his own clothing line it has to be with none other than the truly blue brand, True Blue!! After having spent so many years in blue and being the royal sportsman that he is, the clothes stand testament to every bit of the name.
It was few months back that this brand launched and I am totally delighted to have worn and sported this brand styling it my way at the Mecca of Fashion, Lakme Fashion Week’17!
Being a style blogger and stylist is definitely a job I love to do, and when it’s a brand that is your childhood idol then why won’t you jump with pride?
My Look For Day I
I chose to get styled in this light blue denims which were just so comfortable that they stayed snugged to my skin. It was like having a second skin! I styled this with Adidas Superstars’ white sneakers and tee.
And add to that the uber cool look I put on the slim fitting textured pewter blazer, amped the style quotient for its applique elbows.
My Look For Day II
The next day I chose to be the True Blue man. So I carried on with Navy Blue slim fitting bandh gala with metal buttons. I paired this look with my sneakers, taking my entire look to an uber cool style that fused everything together perfectly.
My Look For Grand Finale
It was as it should be, formal tuxedo with a kerchief and bow tie. I was set for the amazing grand finale when the breathtaking designs of Anita Dongre walked in. In fact, I carried a Hidesign laptop bag to complete my look.

This spring a forceful feminist urge expressed a clash of contrasts that bloomed into some really beautiful new clothes. Lakme Fashion Week 2017 saw fluidity & movement in full force. The new fashion statements were all about feminine power in fact, this spring season’s Fashion Week in Mumbai made sure that it’s all about unconditional liberty. Besides, the shine in all of the designs, the themes powered by liberating music, fashion inspired women to they are; fearless & spontaneous. The designers showcased their designs which proved to be vivid, diverse; exhibiting colourful exuberance & explosive passion with a mix of ancient traditions. So, we can be sure to say that fashion trends really impacted the audience with a joy that had never been seen before.

| 1. The collections showcased by most of the designers centred around fluidity, shimmers, sequins and crystals.
2. The colours were all pastel and white, peach and cream, starting from whites to beige. 3. Then the entire event concluded with shades of greys, this season’s pick! Yellow is the colour of the season so girls, yellow is the new black!! 4. Bold is the new beautiful. So sport quirky & wacky fashion. 5. Prints and applique ruled the fashion scene. 6. Even longer capes, over gowns or saris made the headlines! 7. The idea was to fuse laces with biker jackets while still holding onto the crystal! 8. While we went off shoulders, Bardot tops & cold shoulders still held on this season. In fact, bell sleeves and petal like sleeves made a comeback. 9. Further, #Kshitijkankaria, #undefined, #unlabeled & #untagged made sure that women remain bold, themselves and don’t fit into set of rules imposed on them. The shows with their unique concepts and themes were thought provoking, appealing to the senses & addressed social problems faced by women due to the ungrateful attitude of the people.
