All that. Wedding Tamasha-Part1

WeddingTamasha1

Call it sangeet, call it cocktail but all you can expect here is a lot of madness filled with fun with family and friends. All you need to know here is how to have fun….

Dressing is smart and glamorous, although not so easy to plan n execute the idea of some particular dressing that you have in mind for the event but can be easily carried by almost all you smart young guys.

First what do you think you feel comfortable in, as that’s what I ask myself the first. If I’m not comfortable I can’t make it stand out with my “attitude ka tadka

Now let me tell you a bit in detail what I’ve worn and how I’ve carried it with a why…

  • Wear a jacket (tweak it with some different collar, floral in this case), it is a blood-red velvet. Velvet is the season’s answer to texture and has been featured heavily on the Hollywood red carpet by many designers like Dolce & Gabanna and Tom Ford
  • A black colored shirt is the safest bet anytime and more so, when you wear a bright jacket
  • A bow-tie is a must for adding panache…a red or a black
  • My pants are just not another black if you see minutely you will see a self pattern in it which is again floral(it’s in)
  • A cherry red leather shoe added to the glitz to the whole outfit
  • When you think it’s time to do away with the bow-tie…here comes the scarf to throw in the poise look. Printed silk scarves go well with velvet; for the velvet deserves its share of limelight for its plush looks, the flat sheen of the silk complements its glossy look

Add a belt and gold chain to make up for the metal-less jacket. For the rocker and dandy amongst us, we can add hues to the jacket like navy blue or the deep purple and a white shirt would compliment this look the best, as my dear friend in the pictures is wearing.

WeddingTamasha3 WeddingTamasha10 WeddingTamasha6 WeddingTamasha2 WeddingTamasha7 WeddingTamasha12 WeddingTamasha11 WeddingTamasha9 WeddingTamasha8

Bottom line is, pick a jacket color that goes with your personality. Velvet is a trend in itself and a great style canon. The rules for velvet are very few and simple: it should be slim, trim and taut so that the sharp silhouette acts as the best supporting act.

Eat rich, drink rich and dance like everyone is with you and let NO LUXURY BE SPARED… cheerio!!

Mix print with print- for style never goes out of fashion

Last weekend when I was enjoying the staycation with my family at the Taj, bangalore, wherein I was invited as a special guest to blog about the beautiful, five star luxury hotel at the airport, I was a little confused about what to pack. For a girl who wants to wear good clothes and clothes which make you feel comfortable and classy is really necessary. The holiday fun, playing the mommy could also not be compromised so I chose this beautiful yellow dress for the first day. This colour is one of my favs and it brings so much of sunshine and happiness at the same time, and of course, it definitely enhances the style quotient as this colour is ruling this season totally.

I love the soft, flowing fabric and the black prints in leaves and flowers running all over it. I combined it with a printed scarf which my mom wears all the time ( I love to pick up her things, it makes me so cozy).

I chose the strappy block heels in beige colour. The Universally Flattering silhouette with the dark prints, midi length dress, makes it a complete day wear which doesn’t come in high price tag too. Style need not be expensive always. The defined waistline makes one look neat and not shabby. I chose to wear sparkly danglers from Swarovski and I think I can say, I love this comfortable and peppy combination. So mix prints with prints and give a twist to your look for style is your own though fashion might change.

Black is the new black

Hello sunshine, the season of boots and jackets is back again. In bangalore the chill in the air is just enough to give you the feel of slight winters in the evenings and late nights. So if you are stepping out for any Christmas parties or  just a retail therapy, you can go ahead with knee high boots or the thigh highs. They go with practically anything, be it a short dress or skirt or skinny jeans. You can even pair them with black skinnies. The jacket with the studs is again another piece which you could carry with any outfit. This season is all about embellished jackets and capes. So whether it’s a bomber or a short one or a long coat or even a cape in velvets or silk over a dress, boots can be equally complementing for all the  looks.

Fusion- antique jewelry with western outfit

Fashion is all about experimenting. We all have been wearing antiques with our lehnga, saree, anarkali and other ethnic dresses but this wedding season let’s give it a twist and add some fizz to your look. So c’mon girls whether it’s your wedding or friends wedding, gear up in high fashion. Anyway prints are big time hit and off shoulders add the sizzle to it. So it is another wedding in the family and I choose this printed skirt for my model with lots of color thrown into it and electric blue giving it the jazz. I paired it with one of the antique sets , the navaratan chokar set with big jhumki earring. This is the statement piece of jewelry which is very interesting and you surely would be the head turner this wedding season. Braiding is back so you can avoid the tongs or straighteners for all the havoc they do to your hair.

To change the look and go a little more simpler you could just wear a chandbala which is so interesting. So girls go have all the crazy fun with this minimalistic look for any Mehndi ceremony or any day party. Happy wedding season

Volvo S90 : Redefining the idea of luxury

The 2016 Volvo S90 has been quite the highly awaited offering from the automaker, which was finally launched on Friday with much aplomb and aesthetics.

We Were delighted and very thrilled to have been invited for the same event and launch party and it was an experience of its own kind. Both of us were flown and the hospitality at Hyatt was amazing as we were very well taken care of.

It indeed was a star studded evening in the presence of imposing, news making, wave creating Bollywood’s Big B and Jaya Bachchan and the charming Abhishek Bachchan. The launch happened at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, in the open lawns under the starry sky, canopied beautifully for the event.

The event was made extra special by the launch of first western collection by none other than the most artistic and awe inspiring duo- Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
The beautifully done up runway was an art in itself with the backdrop of trees laden with snow and as the models embarked their walk on the runway, they were playing like beautiful birds romancing sensuously around trees and then did they start walking the ramp one by one with the soft music and light textured feathers & feminine fluidity of form was totally accentuated. The theme was birds and we could prominently see it in the western clothing line launch of Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla.

The capes in feathers and other fluid materials like lace etc with trails and the shorter capes too gave the perfect feminine form an aura of royalty and magnificence, with a hint of superiority that a woman in control enjoys due to her form and beauty, that is unique to the gifted gender , ie, womanhood. The colours were black n grey to start with and then followed the pristine whites. It gave an impression so angelic and pure !

The ramp, the music and the models, the collection of clothes showcased , all was giving an ethereal and ecstatic feel. It almost seemed like a piece of paradise on earth for some time.

And finally the fabulously classy Shweta Bachchan Nanda enthralled the audience as she walked the runway with elan and poise, and artistically etched the drama on stage with movements which were so telling and mesmerising.

This was definitely the moment when the Big B himself was so thrilled to see his daughter and the pride and happiness on his face was oh so unmissable. It was adorable. I could just totally relate to it for this reminded me so much of my mother.

The showstopper was the Scandinavian beauty which combines Swedish technology, the Volvo S90. It was driven and stopped on the center of the stage with aplomb and its elegance totally complemented luxury, unmatched and unparalleled.
Volvo S90, the launch of this beauty in the most aesthetic way is an expression that evokes a high sense of elegant refinement. Underneath the crisply sculpted exterior lies a new chassis that delivers the perfect combination of precise handling and welcome effort. Volvo S90 definitely is designed to deliver a higher grade of luxury.

It has 3 – point safety belt and side impact airbags- inventions that have saved lives and changed automotive history thereby valuing people. It has intuitive senses and its intelli safe innovations support you while you are driving. The Volvo S90 has been designed around you.

Volvo in India with prices starting at Rs. 53.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Swedish carmaker’s flagship sedan in India competes with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Jaguar XF. Review of the same will follow soon.

it’s fall and time for prints on solid colours

Good morning, its a sunny, breezy morning and I welcomed my day with chai n a walk along the coast in goa where I happened to be holidaying with my husband a while ago.

Soon after the walk , we had some sumptuous breakfast in the beach resort and then was the time for a quick shower.
He wanted to take me out for a luncheon date . The dress I picked out was perfect for the balmy noon of goa with a little humidity giving a natural glow to the skin. My look for the day was minimalistic, bare make up n a halter neck midi dress with hardly any accessories ( sorry girls it’s jus that I’m a lil lazy and laid back and holidays are meant to just unwind ).

I paired it with white open block heeled comfy footwear. And there I was ready to go for a luncheon date to thalassa and enjoy some Greek music n food.

The Fine Art Of Zari, Perfected- reviving Kanjeevaram

A Silk saree is synonymous with tradition and it would hold its importance always despite all odds. No matter how modern or westernised a woman gets or how expensive a sari gets, a quintessential Kanjeevaram would always be worn for festivals or weddings or any other important ceremonies in any Indian family and would never go out of vogue. The eye for exquisite details and uncompromising stand on quality is what has earned Kanjeevaram silk its name.

Silk sarees are family heirlooms and the effort for the revival of kanjeevaram which is been taken up by the registry of sarees is a commendably genuine way of trying to bring back kanjeevarams in the life of a modern woman. The hope to show how old forms, colors and patterns can easily find new relevance in contemporary living is the purpose of The Registry of sarees, and revival of kanjeevaram movement.

Kausalya Satyakumar, Apoorva Sadanand and Ally Matthan  together formed The Registry of Sarees which will have a two-fold approach — focussed learning events on indigenous techniques and second, lending support to struggling looms. It’s Ally Matthan who generated so much of enthusiasm amongst women all over India with the #100sareepact movement.

I was invited by my beautiful friend Arshia for attending this event and there was a talk by the evergreen beauty, Kausalya Satyakumar, who is an expert on textile.

This celebration of traditional art of weaving of Kanjeevarams was one of its kind where beautifully woven sarees were showcased brilliantly and what a marvel it was!! During the talk a lot of light was thrown on the making of kanjeevaram, the intricate motifs, the designs and the weaving of the Kanjeevarams.

The patterns and designs in the Kanjeevaram Sarees are inspired with images and scriptures in South Indian temples or natural features like leaves, birds and animal.

The registry of sarees has taken yali as its symbol which is a mythical creature and we usually chance to see this on the pillars of the temples of south India.

The Yali is a mythical creature that marries the regal will and fierceness of a lion, the strength and wisdom of an elephant and the graceful speed and elegance of the horse and the sharpness of an eagle. A symbol of intense protection that safeguards our most precious values. In doing so the whole of four creatures become more powerful than the individual being. Hence the symbol so strong since the effort is to keep the traditional art of weaving going, to safeguard our culture , to keep up the handicraft, handloom and the artisans. If it were not for this, India won’t have ever earned the recognition globally that it has, due to its deep rooted culture, heritage and architecture.

The Yali’s treasure chest had an interesting amalgamation of beautiful vintage sarees which had delicate interplay of motifs and very typically traditional colours like parrot green and various shades of greens, the brick red colour and many more. The beautiful saris in the equally complementing interiors of the Phoenix kessaku was a perfect visual treat and a sensual journey into the world of traditional Kanjeevarams. The typical motifs were Mayil-kannu (peacock eye), rudraksha’s, malli- moggu (jasmine drops) .

Each saree is a limited edition piece crafted in collaboration with the weaver’s inspiration and the designer’s inputs.

In her expert talk Kausalya said “there is no motif that is completely new, they have all evolved from the temple architecture and, again, they symbolise the confluence of different sects, different energies”. She told how peacock and chakram are representation of the Shaivism and vaishnavism respectively. The peacock is the vehicle of Lord Murugan , thus a representation of Shiva and chakra as we all know is the symbol of Lord Vishnu. These motifs are used in all forms of sarees, be it Orissa, Paithani, or, Benarasi saree but in different forms. The idea is to not dilute the traditional motifs, instead retain it and create an awareness, and thus adopt it in a more contemporary and trendy form and make it a part of our modern living.

As the splendid Kanjeevarams were laid out for delectation and as Kausalya went on giving the minutest of details of the sarees , I felt the beauty of the sarees had ensorcelled me. I am somebody who has hardly worn a Kanjeevaram but with the awareness increased my inclination to wear these work of art more often, for the love of labour apart from the charm it holds in its brilliance. So I chose to drape one of these black n gold over my animal printed top, this is more effortless style and this look can be carried off with ease even though you wear a Kanjeevaram.

The other one , ie, the green one is been woven in Korwai technique where the body and the border are two different colors and are joined using the third shuttle. Normally this is how Kanjeevaram sarees were woven, and it requires a third hand in the weaving and it used to be the child of the family, but with the abolition of child labour, it became difficult to employ one more working hand and that is why the sarees with Korwai technique are more expensive. So I chose to go on with the traditional look in this saree pairing it up with a brocade blouse for the festival and Pooja season that it is. here you go girls, what are you waiting for, dig in your mom’s wardrobe and pick out the old Kanjeevaram– time to revive and celebrate.

This is the season of festivities and celebration, mirth n cheer is in the air, and wherever you step out now, the first thought that crosses your mind is what are you going to gift to your friends and family. Everyone is gifting and we all talk about the art of gifting but do we really know or understand the concept, or, do we actually comprehend what is the ‘art of gifting’. I heard somewhere today on radio ” it is not the art of gifting, it’s the art of caring and sharing…” Indian handloom , weaving , and handicraft ….is getting no path to prosper or progress and bloom, instead it’s withering, dying and getting extinct. This is where your role starts and if a little thought goes before buying a gift this Diwali , then you would not be just gifting something to your friend but also a family of an artisan. Probably this Diwali you could gift a smile to a million dollar weaver who is perishing somewhere in the thin air with the smoke of the crackers.

Happy Deepawali to all of you and let there be light in the lives of all our fellow beings.

It was a brilliant Saturday noon and the launch of  first weddingline studio, the first one of it’s kinds in bangalore, at JW Marriott Bengaluru. This is where the wedding line studio extends its arms and hugs and contributes to pull out the deaf from the darkness of eerie silence…

The inaugural function was followed by some champagne and canapes .It was lovely interacting and having a tête-à-tête with Boman who happens to be one of the wittiest man in the film industry and yes, I must say what a warm gentleman he is !

Soon after this we headed to the sprawling lawns of the JW Marriott Bengaluru for the annual cake mixing event that happened in a grand manner. The staff of the hotel came marching forward with handful of trays of fruits, dry fruits and alcohol for the cake mixing. We all had an immensely satisfying time mixing the cake and soaking it up with all the stuff. The aroma of the resplendent alcohol was so sharp that it stayed with me even when I left. One of the chefs dressed as wizard came to sprinkle the spices finally and it surely felt like Christmas. We all wore the red aprons and the cute lil Santa caps as we did the cake mixing. What a festive noon it was!!

The lunch was a grand spread of all sort of grills , pan fried, Chinese delicacies et al. All sort of delicacies from everywhere in the world were served and the hospitality of JW Marriott Bengaluru is unmatched. A lunch date with Missoni

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this… (Pablo Neruda)

it’s Missoni kaftan dress, makes me perfect for a cruise or yatch party or even a brunch.

So there was this exhibition at the Taj of many a luxury designers and brands in fashion and I was invited there .These brands which were showcased here have not yet made an entry in the bangalore scene of fashion so this would also give an assessment of the choice and and an insight into the potential clients and market analysis of our lovely city, bangalore.

It was a breezy warm noon. The autumns in bangalore are different from any part of the world, they are nice, romantic and the weather of bangalore scores and gets all the brownie points , if any Bangalorean has to speak about this place. Unlike anywhere else in India , this place is so moderate, summers are never harsh and winters are just cool enough to let you use a few jackets , that too hardly. I swear by the weather here as you can practically pull out anything from your wardrobe any time of the year without any fear of fashion failure or disasters. But personally I believe in style and personal style, and not so much in fashion.

So here I was at the Taj Westend and the brands showcased were all from Roberto Cavalli , to what not .So I chose try on a Missoni. The gown I tried was one of the Kaftan styles. And Asian and Middle East impact on the fashion scene is big this season. This was one of the exotic pieces and I had to wear and write about.

Kaftans are comfortable loose garments that somehow offer both modesty and allure. They are both glamorous and comfortable, exotic yet simple. A kaftan can be an expensive, designer made status symbol, or an inexpensive discount store purchase. They can be found at ethnic specialty boutiques, or made at home with or without a pattern.

Kaftans look wonderful on young women as well as older women, thin or heavy set women. They are airy and cool on a hot summer day, or cozy worn over a turtle neck. The one I am wearing has a v neck and perfectly suits the season and my mood.( I love effortless style and fashion that complements your attitude).

In this gown or kaftan dress the Iconic Missoni patterns in Stripes, squares and zigzags exist by side, influencing one another, drawing closer to one another and superimposing themselves n an endless interlacing of horizontal bands, vertical ribs.Contrasting space-dyes and solid colours, flow through the netting.
This season´s Spring 2017 collection represents the essence of the Missoni language viewed from a contemporary perspective, re-visiting the ‘put-together’ look . Missoni represents modern elegance that is versatile and multicoloured and plays on a refined mixing and matching of woven fabric, knitwear colours, yarns, stitches and patterns.

This is one brand where fashion typically is not the put together look but being comfortable in your skin is what matters.

You won’t really need to accessorise a Missoni with its class coupled with ‘devil may care’ attitude, yet i thought of putting on a Swarovski to compliment the beauty, that is Missoni, I was flaunting. I would love to make it a part of my personal collection , how about you !!

It made for a perfect day which was followed by some lovely high tea.

Tanishq Shubham #tanishqwalidiwali

This Diwali and wedding season is surely going to be special for many of us with the beautiful, exquisite heirloom pieces and ornaments by the Shubham collection of Tanishq.

Tanishq has introduced its latest range of jewellery “Shubham” , the exquisite temple jewellery in the times when the traditional craftsmanship in jewellery making has reached an apogee; hence reviving artistic traditions in fading, distinctive , indigenous form of jewellery.

Shubham is jewellery inspired by the history , geography and diversity of culture of India , thereby redefining the beauty of Indian Woman. I was invited by the team Tanishq to blog and review the same and it is been an extremely luxurious and thoroughly pampering affair to get this opportunity.

And As I donned the sets one by one, so many feelings and memories flooded my heart. For me Tanishq holds an immense emotional value for the fact that my mother loved Tanishq jewellery and every piece of jewellery in Shubham is not just a product but a heirloom which a mother passes on to her daughter. It is the glory of generations, the celebration of the eternal bond and relationships , the journey of a woman; when every set signifies a feeling poignant in the moment. I could realise that at Tanishq, jewellery is not just a form of adornment but every piece of Shubham also carries symbolic value in terms of so many ways.

The first one I donned is the ‘hansuli’ choker and I could feel that each set or necklace tells its own story, aesthetically appealing to the senses with its fragments in history. This one is a timeless design modified into delicate piece of art, replicating and retaining the traces of original heirloom yet fashioning it on the lines of universal appeal and modern charm. I had always heard of Hansuli from my mother and this was a fabulous ornate creation on my neck. This piece would compliment a woman on every occasion, be it Diwali or your own wedding. The hansuli is a statement jewellery and is breath taking and magnificent. This hansuli choker was a blend of Indian heritage and modern precision.

Then I chose to wear a Choker and a long neck piece or haar . The beads of the Choker are in the shape of pillars of a temple with intricate carvings. The long neck piece totally complements the look with its bearing in the majestic temples of Hampi, Gujarat and Bhubaneshwar, hence making it an ornament of regal grace, thus adding the royal touch to the aura of a woman. I chose to brace and adorn my hands with a lovely ring and a beautiful pair of Kangans which felt like a shower of opulence, glory and blessings from heavens above. …

Shubham is the jewellery that not only a bride wears on her wedding day with elan and poise but also which can be fused with any modern clothing with eclat.

The piece of jewellery I loved the most is the beautiful Krishna haar. Although it would feel that it’s so traditional yet I made sure I wear it in a different flavour and so I wore it with the black Roberto Cavalli gown. With this I wore a delicate choker and the regal long neckpiece which is a fusion of the age old Matarmala and panchlara haar. The beaded arrangement of Matarmala in a a simplistic yet very stylish way woven into a three layered (instead of five layers of panch- Lara haar), makes it a possession of unbridled grandeur. The modern and wearable twist, despite marrying of two very royally exquisite pieces into one, makes it the most arresting piece of jewellery which I would surely want to buy and treasure in my jewellery box( which incidentally is a gift from my grand-ma).

Each piece of jewellery in the Shubham collection represents an epoch, an era that makes you feel like a woman with an undeniable air of beauty and royalty. Tanishq, has surely paid a tribute to the art and artisans , temple and history of Indian culture, playing with the designs and motifs inherited from past, and re-crafted, reviving the jewellery into a new contemporary form. This gesture has alchemised the artistic spirit and coalesced the craftsmanship with fashion in a very fashionable and trendy manner. These wondrous ornaments are the current must- haves in any urban lady’s trinket box. So let’s celebrate #tanishqwalidiwali .For more designs you can see here- Tanishq.co.in

Brunch outing-mixing prints with solid colour

And here I’m in the middle of a Sunday noon and staring at my wardrobe which looks like a movie in 60’s i.e. black & white and an added grey (coz its 2016) so I’ve few shades of grey too (if not 50). So I see some brightness coming from one corner of my wardrobe and whoa!! I see a colourful tee there which I bought in some colourful mood(read pun)but never got an opportunity to wear it in my 9-6 life. So I get an opportunity today to flash some colours in my friend’s lunch invite.

When I’m there and meeting my friends I’m getting some mixed bag reactions from my friends. My guy friends on one hand are criticising me for wearing so many colours in one t shirt whereas all their better halves (now I know why are they called so) are praising my choice and the way I’m able to carry it (though I just wore it out of boredom from blue black grey I was praised for not being regular I suppose). So guys lets be more metrosexual and allow some colours and prints in our wardrobe (who says all bright shades are for women) and celebrate Autumn. Cheers!!!

Garad Silk – festive look -2 for the season

Shubh dashmi and today as we celebrate the final day of Durga Puja or navratris, I thought of wearing a sari from my mother’s collection of beautiful silks and hence I chose the traditional Garad. If you thought white color is only reserved for serious occasions then you better have a look at this post.

Garad (also known as Garod) silk is one of the popular styles of saree that has its origin in West Bengal. Also known as Gorod, the word Garad means ‘White’. Garad silk sarees are distinguished by its red border and small paisley motifs. Silk fabric used to weave Garad sarees is not dyed which keeps the purity factor of the fabric intact and therefore these sarees have a sacred importance to the women in Bengal. The color white is regarded as a symbol of purity; hence women prefer to wear a Garad Saree for special occasions and religious ceremonies. This garod silk has its position fixed as pristine part of any Pooja due to no adulteration. This is also worn on Sindoor tritiya or gauri Pooja on third day of navratris.

In east of India, including Bihar, Benaras and Allahabad, it is considered that during Puja no stitched clothes should be worn n hence these saris are traditionally used without fall although in modern parlance these things don’t hold so much of importance. Garad silk is made up of mulberry silk or tussar.

Garad also comes in tussar. Traditional Bengal tussar sarees come in the natural shades of beige or cream with a coloured border and pallav, and floral and paisley motifs woven across the globe. Tussar silk also forms a great canvas for kantha embroidery, where the plain fabric is colourfully adorned with embroidered patterns to form the borders and pallav of the saree. My sis-in-law is wearing a tussar Garad again from mom’s collection. The exotic weave makes it completely elegant. So grace the air with your presence in Indian handloom, silks of India.

Garad has shown its impact on fashion runways and in Bollywood equally. Designers like Neeta lulla, Soumitra Mandal etc have showcased Garad on the ramp in beautiful manner.

You can team it up with a brocade blouse and gold jewellery to give a perfect look for any festive occasions, be it festivals or wedding or anywhere else.

So girls time to explore in mom’s wardrobe for some rich heritage and traditional saris and make some waves, time to grace the air with some charm…

Panthère de Cartier ❤️ Panther of Cartier

Panther1

Kylie Jenner bought her best friend a Cartier love bangle… AHEM. A Cartier stands class apart and a brand on the wish list of many but did u ever wonder why a panther is the official expression of this handsome brand.

Panther2

Why a Panther??

I always used to wonder why a panther is so frequently used in Cartier jewelry & watches, entire collections are dedicated to this Animal.

Panther3

So, history says in 1914 a French painter George Barbier was commissioned to create a watercolor painting, which was originally planned to be used as an invitation for a jewelry exhibit. But Louis Cartier liked it so much that he ended using it from there on end as Cartier most iconic & recognizable symbol.

The painting is called Dame à la panthère (Dam ala pohntae) depicts an elegantly dressed woman with a panther at her feet.  Big cats were in vogue in the early 20th century- the beast was seen as the ultimate expression of femininity.

“Getting ready” . to a few this statement sounds getting ready for a problem or a mission ,to a few getting ready for work or a party a survey shows 85 percent of women get happy by just by getting ready but how do get the spark in our outfit enough to turn a potential bad day into a rather good day . According to me the sparkle can be just by some simple accessories

Why accessories?

Accessories have  power enough to transform   simple outfits into a bold and fashionable ones. Accessorizing is also a great way of displaying our personality, after all we all do remember Harper from ‘wizards of Waverly place’, for her customized exiting accessories,  so lets see how we can use this power to our everyday life

Some tips

comfort– accessories should be in the comfort zone and essential for you to like it and feel beautiful rather than feeling conscious all day

Don’t over do it

wear a lot of accessories can be overwhelming to look at after all coco Chanel said ” when accessorizing always take off the last thing you put on “

Yeah it becomes even more lovely as it is capable of giving a new life, unbelievable isn’t it. And undoubtedly bump is the cutest n most precious accessory one could flaunt.

Fashion and pregnancy go together and there are no dearth of choices to spoil a mum- to- be. Let’s take a sneak peek into the wardrobes of celebs who have had rocking sense of fashion coupled with comfort during pregnancy .

Today I’m also discussing few points to be kept in mind while dressing your cute bump, no camouflage , carry the baby bump with pride darlings, I had an awesome fun time during mine. And I can never thank my friends enough, specially Ritu, 💕💕💕💕who sent me so many maternity outfits that I had a fashionable pregnancy full of love and good wishes from my best of friends. Can’t ever get over those pamperings and affection more than anything , anyways here you go.

  1. Try layering pieces with your bump. It’s very comfortable and flattering.
  2. Bold prints are fun and can help make your bump appear smaller, as they can distract the eye.
  3. Shopping vintage? A lot of non-maternity dresses work well if they have a higher waistline. It’s a great way to maximize your current wardrobe for as long as you can.
  4. As your bump grows, emphasize your best assets. Love your legs? Show them off in a knee-length dress.
  5. When you’re not quite ready for full-on maternity jeans, try a cute pair of patterned elastic-waist pants. Just make sure they’re not too baggy.
  6. Don’t shy away from color just because you’re pregnant. The key is to find a silhouette that flatters your growing bump.
  7. A slimming little black dress is a must-have for any mom-to-be.
  8. Stretchy pencil skirts have been my best friend during pregnancy. Pair them with a classic blouse and nude heels to elongate your legs.
  9. Invest in a good leather jacket. I got mine in my first trimester and wore it nonstop over sweet dresses or comfy tees.
  10. Splurge on accessories—hats, especially—since you can still wear them all after baby arrives.
  11. Figure-hugging dresses + an oversize coat or cardigan = slimming and comfortable.
  12. My favourite was the culotte skirt teamed with tops with geometric prints.
