Whoever said this was right that streets are your runway and you get to see most inspiring fashion as you walk down the backstreets.
Sheer has taken over in a big way recently and the best way to ace your look for a brunch or day wear is to go for whites and grays in a typical European style. Say yes to Sheer dress and here’s how to ace it as a day wear.
This trend can be traced to Simone Rocha as I read in Vogue. These party pretty dresses scream ultra feminine style. But you could definitely pair it up with a sporty shoe instead of rocket high heels. Its surely a little daunting to try out first and specially during the day times. But delicate lacework and demure hemlines make it easier to sport.
So I chose this beautiful dress which has a bodycon in prints and it’s a Camella Barcelona for my friend’s birthday brunch. It doesn’t bare and isn’t an all out exposure kinds, unlike Beyonce and Rihanna style which is seriously daring ‘’naked ‘’. This Spanish brand makes its presence in delhi and lucknow and it’s a gift from my brother, Lucky, who is my co blogger and my inspiration to being a stylist and fashionista.
The ruffles on the white sheer are feminine and trendy. I have used a crochet faux leather belt to add some glamor to the otherwise simple look. I paired it with pink stilettos sponsored by Steve Madden to add a dash of colour to the white look.
The brunch was at Taj Westend and the spread was amazing with a mix of European and chettinad and north indian cuisine. The live music and the bubbly champagne and the giggling friends added to the joyous occasion.
Sheer is chic so include it in your wardrobe and style it your way to keep it comfortable to sport even in the day time.
