A unique food festival – probably first of its kind
One the finest unheard Cuisine from Uttara Karanataka and Karavelli Region.
I had the opportunity of tasting the menu the very first day of the festival and it was a delicious treat. For someone like me, who has spent their many years in the interiors of Uttara Kannada, it was a revival of many cherished moments- food and its aroma definitely take us back in time and this was an experience. I’m happy to be sharing my heartfelt feelings with my audiences since I hardly had any discussion on the same with people who have been a part of this journey.
Shri Bala who is a well known chef and has also been awarded national prize for reviving forgotten recipes is a master when in action and it’s the second time when I witnessed her in ITC welcome doing a totally different menu than the one I had tasted last time.
